Will I get a reply?

We read what arrives and reply where a reply is needed. Given the size of the operation we cannot promise one to every message, and we do not send an automatic acknowledgement email.

I found an error in the data. How should I report it?

Send the URL of the page, which figure or wording differs and how, and a link to the primary source if you have one. This site organizes primary data on its own, so a value that disagrees with the source points to something in our processing.

May I quote an article or a chart?

Quoting is fine as long as you name this site and link to the page as the source. For reproducing a substantial amount, or for commercial use, write to us under the press and citation topic.
